When you install and use Dropsify, we access and store the following data:

  • Store information: Your Shopify store domain, installed app settings, and plan details.
  • Product data: Product titles, handles, images, vendors, product types, inventory levels, and pricing — used to detect dead stock.
  • Order data (read-only): Order line items and dates — used to calculate sales frequency and detect products that haven't sold.
  • Notification email: The email address you provide for scan notifications.

We do not collect personal customer data, payment information, or any data about your store's customers.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Scanning your product catalog to identify dead stock
  • Creating automatic discounts, managing collections, and scheduling flash sales on your behalf
  • Sending email notifications when new dead stock is detected
  • Displaying analytics and performance metrics in your dashboard
  • Enforcing plan-based feature limits

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmission. Access tokens are stored securely and used only to communicate with the Shopify API on your behalf.

We retain your data only while your app is installed. When you uninstall Dropsify, all your store data, scan history, actions, and settings are permanently deleted within 48 hours.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Shopify API: To access your store data and perform actions (discounts, collections).
  • Resend: To send email notifications. Only your notification email address is shared.

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with any other third parties.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share your store data with anyone. Your product, order, and inventory data is used solely to provide the dead stock detection and action features within the app.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of all data we store about your store
  • Request deletion of your data at any time
  • Uninstall the app, which triggers automatic data deletion
  • Disable email notifications in your app settings
